Wrapped in flaky puff pastry, this festive wreath is perfect for holiday parties, family gatherings, or any occasion where you want to impress your guests with both flavor and presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into pieces
  • ¼ cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Prepare the filling:
In a small bowl, combine the chopped cranberries, pomegranate seeds, honey, and rosemary. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Assemble the wreath:
Unroll the puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet. Place the Brie cheese pieces in the center of the pastry, leaving about a 2-inch border around the edges. Spoon the cranberry and pomegranate mixture over the Brie.

4️⃣ Shape the wreath:
Carefully cut the edges of the puff pastry into strips about 1 inch wide. Fold the strips over the filling and bring them toward the center, overlapping them to create a wreath shape. Tuck the edges underneath the wreath to seal.

5️⃣ Egg wash and bake:
In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together to create an egg wash. Brush the top of the pastry wreath with the egg wash to give it a golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

6️⃣ Serve:
Once baked, let the wreath cool slightly before transferring to a serving platter. Garnish with additional rosemary or pomegranate seeds if desired. Serve warm as a festive appetizer.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter filling, add a tablespoon of brown sugar to the cranberry mixture.
  • For a vegetarian-friendly option, ensure your puff pastry is made without butter (or use a plant-based version).
  • This pastry wreath can be made ahead and frozen before baking—just brush with egg wash right before baking from frozen.
