Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  • Cook the Chicken:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Make the Garlic Cream Sauce:

    • Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
    • Stir in the heavy cream, bringing the sauce to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Finish the Sauce:
    • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce and create a smooth, creamy texture. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  • Combine the Chicken and Sauce:
    • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes to ensure the chicken is heated through and coated with the sauce.
  • Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve the creamy garlic chicken with your favorite sides.
