Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
  • 2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place your pie crust in a pie pan and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Add the heavy cream and whisk until smooth.

3️⃣ Assemble the Pie: Evenly spread the chopped pecans across the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the prepared filling mixture over the pecans, ensuring they are submerged.

4️⃣ Bake the Pie: Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden brown. If the crust begins to brown too much, cover the edges with foil to prevent burning.

5️⃣ Cool and Serve: Let the pie cool completely before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • If you prefer a slightly less sweet pie, reduce the sugar by ¼ cup.
