Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package phyllo cups (about 1520 cups)
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the phyllo cups on a baking sheet.

2️⃣ Prepare the Brie: Place a small cube of Brie cheese into each phyllo cup.

3️⃣ Season the Brie: In a small bowl, mix honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar (if using). Drizzle this mixture over the Brie cubes in each cup.

4️⃣ Bake the cups: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the Brie is melted and the phyllo cups are golden brown and crispy.

5️⃣ Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves and chopped walnuts. Serve immediately while warm for the best texture and flavor!

Notes

  • For a sweeter version, add a dash of vanilla extract to the honey mixture.
  • You can also add a small spoonful of fruit preserves, like raspberry or fig, before baking for a more complex flavor.
  • If you don’t have phyllo cups, you can use a muffin tin to bake small phyllo dough squares into cup shapes.
