For Serving (Optional):

- Fresh Greek salad (cucumber, tomato, red onion, olives, and feta)
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Make the Meatball Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined. Avoid overmixing, as it can make the meatballs tough.

- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Bake the Meatballs:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Serve:
- Serve the Greek Turkey Meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce, pita bread, or over a fresh Greek salad. Garnish with additional parsley or dill if desired.
Notes
- Pan-Frying Option: You can also cook the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat with a bit of olive oil for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.
- Meal Prep Friendly: Store cooked meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
- Dairy-Free Option: Skip the feta cheese and add 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor without dairy.
