  • 2 lobster tails, thawed if frozen
  • 8 oz large scallops, cleaned and patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster and Scallops:

  • Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.

2️⃣ Cook the Lobster:

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Season the lobster tails with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place the lobster tails in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3️⃣ Cook the Scallops:

  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter. Add the scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a golden sear and are opaque. Remove and set aside with the lobster.

4️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, then return the lobster and scallops to the skillet. Toss gently to coat in the garlic butter.

5️⃣ Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for garnish. Serve immediately, paired with your favorite sides.
