Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough (about 10 inches)
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using pizza dough, roll it out into a thin, round shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Prepare the flatbread: Brush the flatbread with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Assemble the toppings: Evenly distribute the sliced pears over the flatbread. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts on top.

4️⃣ Bake the flatbread: Place the flatbread in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy and the cheese has melted.

5️⃣ Finish with honey and thyme: Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top for an extra burst of flavor.

6️⃣ Serve and enjoy: Slice and serve warm, perfect for sharing as a starter or pairing with a glass of wine!

Notes

  • If you prefer a milder flavor, substitute the blue cheese with goat cheese or feta.
  • Feel free to add arugula or spinach as an additional topping for a fresh twist.
  • Serve with a side of balsamic glaze for added richness.
